Nomination Reason

Maria Garcia deserves recognition for her creative and inclusive leadership throughout 2025. She launched a "Cultural Heritage" badge series, where Pathfinders learned traditional crafts, cooking, and music from various cultures represented in our church, fostering unity and respect. Her patient mentorship was crucial for two neurodiverse Pathfinders who earned their Friend and Companion classes this year, as she adapted teaching methods to ensure their success and inclusion. Maria also led a weekly after-school tutoring and mentorship program at the church, serving over 30 community youth. Her boundless energy, empathy, and innovative programming have made our club a beacon of acceptance and active learning.

Nomination Reason

Samuel Johnson has been an inspirational and transformative leader for our club in 2025. He spearheaded the "Trailblazers" initiative, taking our Pathfinders on monthly camping trips that focused on practical wilderness first aid and Leave No Trace principles, boosting outdoor skills and camaraderie. His greatest impact has been his one-on-one discipleship with teens, helping three youth complete their Master Guide class this year. Sam also organized a highly successful community clean-up project that partnered with the city park service, earning our club local recognition. His joyful service, deep faith, and ability to connect with young people make him an outstanding role model.
